Why permanently install panels on vehicle or RV roof and drill through roof potentially creating leaks or imperfect gluing when you can instead install removable Solar Rack™ that universally attaches to roof rack cross bars? (*can also be used on the ground see below) In addition to being removable TSR's™ proprietary designs (patents pending) offer increased collection capacity when opened (3 and 4 and 8 panel models) for those with other roof space needs in reduced footprints when closed.
Note: 1) This is a "kit", so to price it as low as possible (save on freight shipping $, etc) Assembly is Required. All pieces pre-cut & pre-drilled rack mounting holes, so very similar to assembling Ikea furniture anyone can do it (approx. time 1 to 2 hours)

2) The units must be attached to your roof rack and secured CLOSED at all times vehicle moving so as to be safe* (hardware and detailed instructions to do so included)

The Solar Rack™ kits are light enough they can be placed on the ground using a 3rd party ground mount kit like this or trailer rack (Malone trailer rack pictured - check dimensions to confirm fit before buying - neither supplied by TSR™)

Footnote1: For added security each kit comes standard with nylon lock wingnuts to secure the supplied mounts to buyer's roof rack, but buyers are responsible for enabling locking roof rack for your rack to avoid theft (buyers can also opt for added security simply wrap cable lock between your TSR™ kit and vehicle rack there's room underneath to do so if you choose)
Footnote2: It's possible for buyers to customize & drill more 7/16" mounting holes in frame base if 28" on center doesn't work for your rack
